How Does Affiliate Marketing Work?

Because collaborative marketing works by expanding product marketing obligations and performance across groups, it is possible to use the skills of different people with an effective marketing strategy while offering contributors a portion of the profits. To do this work, three different groups must be involved:

  • Product Manufacture & Sellers

  • The Publisher & Affiliate

  • The Consumer

      Whether the buyer knows it or not, they (and their purchases) are the drivers of consistent marketing. Partners share these products on social media, blogs and websites.

    When consumers buy a product, the seller and the agent share the profit. Sometimes an agent can choose to be ahead of the consumer by disclosing that they are receiving a commission for the sale they are making. Sometimes a consumer may ignore the relevant marketing infrastructure after his purchase.
